Rebecca Brancato Barragan has been teaching dance, choreographing and performing musical theatre for over twenty years. She graduated with honors from Oklahoma City University while majoring in Dance Performance. Once completing the intense dance program at OCU, she moved to NYC and was hired to be in the cast of several National and European tours.She played at some of the most prestigious venues around the world in cities such as Paris, Berlin, and Tokyo while performing in the musicals Grease, Sophisticated Ladies and West Side Story.
Tap dancing is her forte and during her eight years in NYC, Rebecca had the opportunity to be a member of the Rhythm Tap Company. She also studied with legends in the tap community such as Henry LeTang, Germaine Salsberg, and Savion Glover.
Since her arrival to sunny California, one of her favorite experiences was performing as a tap percussion soloist with Kenny Loggins. Rebecca been teaching beginner through advanced levels of tap at Ballet Conservatory West and loves every moment of it!
