SUMMER PROGRAM 2020
BCW is pleased to offer three summer programs.
Creative Movement & Pre Ballet Workshop
Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th
For the young dancer, this week long program offers a one hour ballet class, a healthy snack, and one hour of historic ballet story telling and crafts. Each day, the dancers will learn about a particular story ballet (Swan Lake, Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and Cinderella) and then create masks, floral crowns, wands, tutus and a backdrop.
Ages 3 & 4 - Monday through Friday, 9:30 am - 12 noon
Ages 5 & 6 - Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm - 3 pm

One and Two Week Summer Intensives, Tap and Ballet
Ballet, Two Weeks
For students in the Elementary and Intermediate levels
(Note - Students must have already completed four years of ballet training in order to participate in the Intermediate Intensive.)
Monday, June 29th through Friday, July 10th
Intermediate level - Monday through Friday, 10 am - 1 pm
Elementary level - Monday through Friday, 2pm - 5 pm
Intensives are a great opportunity to gain strength, build stamina, and challenge and shape technique in an incredibly focused manner. Students will enjoy a 90 minute ballet technique class, and a one hour and fifteen minute variations, dance history or stretch and strengthening class. The classical ballet The Sleeping Beauty will be explored, with excerpts from the ballet being learned.

Musical Theater Tap Workshop
Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th
Elementary Level Dancers - 4 - 6pm
Intermediate Level Dancers - 6 - 8pm
All ages, all levels
Tappers will be acting, singing and dancing to exciting musicals that will lead up to a "Broadway Bound" performance on the last day of the workshop.

Saturday Ballet Classes
July 11th through August 1st (Four Weeks)
Saturday ballet classes are offered for students interested in taking class once per week over the summer.
Tuition - $120
